However, it will likely continue to be incremental change that builds on the existing infrastructure rather than destroying it. It will be change that puts pressure on publishers to become even more innovative in the face of declining margins on traditional knowledge products. It will be change that requires new expertise and new approaches to both customers and business models. <p>In conjunction with the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), the libraries of Washington University along with its partners, the University of Missouri and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, are pleased to host a free day-long workshop that covers scholarly communication and strategies for author support. There are two workshop sessions being offered:</p>

<li>Strategies for Author Support </li>
</ul>
<p>The workshop sessions are appropriate for academic library staff with leadership assignments in scholarly communication as well as subject liaisons and others who are interested in learning more about author support strategies.</p>

One right you may want to retain is to post the peer-reviewed version of your journal article on your laboratory website. Another right is to comply with the NIH Public Access Policy.</p>
<p>There is a <a href="http://becker.wustl.edu/forms/WUaddendum-form.html" target="_blank">customized addendum form</a> available for WU authors that allows authors to select from certain groups of rights and generate a PDF that can be attached to a journal publisher&#8217;s copyright form. WU authors are not required to use this form.</p>
