The Fair Copyright in Research Works Act (HR6845) was recently introduced. The bill includes a proposal to prohibit federal agencies from requiring a transfer of copyright for a work generated by federal funds. The Endocrine Society recently announced a new policy for authors who publish in their journals which include Endocrinology, Endocrine Reviews, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (JCEM) and Molecular Endocrinology.
