Subsidized Open Access Fees for WU and WUSM Authors

October 21st, 2010 by Cathy · No Comments

Washington University Danforth Campus (WU) and the Medical School Campus (WUSM) members have access to journal titles published by open access publishers such as BioMed Central and PLoS (Public Library of Science). Publishing in open access journals usually requires an author publication fee to offset the cost of publication, and in some instances, publishers will waive fees for authors who do not have the funds and for authors from developing countries. In addition, many traditional publishers offer fee-based open access options for authors as part of a hybrid model that combines open access articles with non-open access articles in a journal issue.

See  Subsidized Open Access Fees for WU and WUSM Authors to view a list of publishers and/or journal titles that allow for discounted author fees for WU and WUSM authors.
