WU Authors Who Publish in BioMed Central Journals

December 5th, 2007 by Cathy · No Comments

WU authors who publish in a BioMed Central journal are entitled to a 15% discount on article processing fees. Among the benefits of publishing in a BioMed Central journal include rapid publication, high visibility, inclusion in PubMed, SCOPUS, Google, and PubMed Central, and no space constraints for your work.  An added benefit for authors is that the author retains the rights to the work.  As noted on the BioMed Central site: “This means that your article can be freely redistributed and reused by yourself and others as long as the article is correctly attributed. For example, your published article can be posted on your personal or institutional homepage, e-mailed to friends and colleagues, printed and sent to as many people as you wish, archived in a collection, distributed on CD-ROM, included in coursepacks, quoted in the press, translated and further distributed as often and widely as possible.”
