Olivia Judson posed a very interesting question in the NY Times the other day: If you could pick any organism to have its whole genome sequenced — what would it be?  Dr. Judson ponders the concept of genomes and what this information can tell us in the article.  She names the African coelacanth as her pick.  What about you?
